It’s Wakestock Time! Yes it’s that time of year again when the Llyn Peninsula, North Wales comes alive with wakeboarding and music action as Wakestock 2010 hits Abersoch. This is ExPix’s favourite event and one that we look forward to every year.

So what makes it so good? Well ExPix have been on board from the early days and have watched it grow from nothing more than a one night after party to a 4 day event that now caters for 15,000 people per night. Despite this huge growth, Wakestock has maintained a charm that makes it unique amongst festivals. The festival is always chilled and laid back and the people are amazing. And to quote a cliché ‘it’s just one big happy family’!

Now in its second decade, Wakestock is Europe’s largest wakeboard & music festival and is as good as ever. GB & International wakeboarding stars will be out in force on Pwllheli Marina over the weekend as they compete to become Wakestock champions. Back at the event site and the wakeboarding action continues in the Pool Gap as the Rocco Rail Tour gets underway.

If wakeboarding’s not your thing the music line up is sure to impress; Maximo Park, Feeder, The Ting Tings and N-Dubz headlining alongside many more up and coming live acts including Plan B, Mr Hudson and Band of Skulls. Dance music legends such as Pete Tong, Eric Prydz, Fedde le Grand, Kissy Sell Out and Zinc will also take to the stage making this a weekend to remember!
