Hi I’m Lex! I spend most of my time wakeboarding but do enjoy the odd surf here and there. I have been in the top 4 UK Open Ladies for the past 5 years. I travel to all the comps that I can around the UK. I would like to ride boat a bit more in the next few years when I find the time and the dollar.

Caroline Adrien is fast becoming a high profile name on the French competition scene.

Competing on the course racing, speed and freestyle circuits in France she is gaining results and taking on some big names and holding her own! Coming third in the Europeans ths year (2009) behind France's Fabien D'Ortoli and English and World Champion Steph Bridge is no mean feat!She concentrates on the endurance races and speed but can also freestyle quite well too although she says she is working on her ariel handle pass.

I’m Jules, I’m 20 years old and I love to wakeboard and have fun.  I grew up with my awesome family in Buckinghamshire, England.  Growing up we always water-skied, but it was my brother that eventually persuaded me to try wakeboarding.  I loved it from the first moment, and instantly knew that I had found my passion.  I remember thinking that this was what I wanted to do, and have since never looked back!  These days I try to get out on the water every day, it’s like being addicted to a drug!

Murray Aldrich

As we said the section isnt all about World or National Champions its about the kitesurf community so here we have Murray Alrich a cheeky chappy from Essex.

Murray who is currently taking time out from study (HE WANTS TO BECOME A LAWYER !!!!!!!!) is traveling and living the life of a kitesurfer.

Muz as his friends call him is always one for a laugh and joke and can be often seen pulling the women on any beachfront, pub or club ......... ooops rewind ...can't let his girlfriend see that !

Matt Crowhurst

Born in the centre of England in Birmingham Matt has been ranked in the top 5 of UK wakeboarders for over ten year. Yet for all his bravado and showmanship on a wakeboard/skate his goals still include to improve his own riding as well as pushing the sport to new heights, and into the mainstream.Currently the british Wakeskate Champion as well as the Rococo Rail Tour Champion for the second year in a row he is in a good position to help promote the sport.

Steph Caller is one of a new breed of Wakeboarders that concentrate mainly on the cable. Slighlty less expensive than having a boat the cable allows more people to access wakeboarding in locations around the world. Steph a graphic designer loves to travel, meet new people and push herself to the limit. Wakeboarding allows her do do all those things.

Helen Thompson

Helen Thompson is Scotland's no1 female Kitesurfer, Living between Glasgow and the Ilse of Tiree,

when she's not competing or training in locations around the globe Helen prefers to be in her favourite spots around Tiree where the wind blows more frequently than anywhere else in the UK (statistically speaking of course). She has also just set up the Tiree Kitesurf Academy at Gott Bay on Tiree.

Sjoukje Bredenkamp the fasted woman on a kite and currently the outright speed record holder for a woman sailor is only 20 and a true extreme sports athlete.

Breaking the world speed record in Luderitz Namibia last year Sjoukje capatpulted herself into the history books forever by becoming the first woman on a kite to hold the worlds speed sailing outright record.
