Steph Caller is one of a new breed of Wakeboarders that concentrate mainly on the cable. Slighlty less expensive than having a boat the cable allows more people to access wakeboarding in locations around the world. Steph a graphic designer loves to travel, meet new people and push herself to the limit. Wakeboarding allows her do do all those things.

Of slight build and a bubbly character dont be fooled by the female exterior Steph is as tough as they come. She can take a beating when it comes to falling, although she admits doing it infront of crowds like she did  at Animal Windfest can be embarressing when your grabbing a face full of Sand.

We're glad to say she didnt fall very often but just to prove how hard she is take a look at the image above!

How ExPix met Steph Caller

We were on the our rounds of the Event in the UK and were attending Animal Windfest in Poole. As normal we were setting up, looking around and just generally checking out the site.

We noticed the poolgap and went over to see who Matt Crowhurst had brought with him to Poole. it wasnt all the usual faces in particular a young female rider stood out from the group as being the only girl there. Brave or stupid ? as we know what can happen when these guys ride the winches on a poolgap.

We set up and started to shoot the days events on the poolgap at Animal Windfest. Well Matt obviouslt knew what he was doing as she was hitting all but the biggest slider (even the lad stopped due to technical problems with it )

She was extremely confident and had a great attitudetowards the event, crowd and sport. So we approached her with a view to writing this profile about her .......obviously she obliged and even posed for a few lifestyle / portrait shots.

So now that we know who she is we'll be looking out for her at future events and lakes that we attend.

She's definately one to watch !
