Well its was time to return the the SWA for their BUCS National Championships.

As usual the SWA didnt dissappoint with an event that most people cant remember even if they wanted to .......

So we were there with the cameras and videos just to remind those poor unfortunate souls what actually did happen !

The BUCS nationals down at Calshot had a really good turnout despite the dodgey forecast. being students its not all aout the sport but more about the taking part ....or the party.

We didnt see the Friday night due to travelling down from another event, however from the bedraggled apperance of some of the students on Saturday morning it would seem that the Friday night was a good start to the event.

So we found a place near the camp (but not too near it can get noisey at times) and grabbed the cameras and video to start work. Tom Worman was with us on this trip for the Saturday which allowed us to film and to photograph which was rather cool as Sat was going to be busy. With three different locations for the different abilities we were run off our feet going backwards and forwards to see the rookies intermediates and advanced all compete.

At the end of the day a BBQ time and an evening Jam session with Indigo Sun brought the days activities to gentle close before the evenings party on the boat.

The fancy dress code ....as always...... saw  a convoy of people heaing for the jetty not unlike the fairy story of the pied piper really. With games along the way and snorkels of beer ? wine and even rum being swallowed forfeits were a plenty.

The boat trip was interesting as the rocking motion from time to time added to the swaying on the dance floor. We couldnt work out whether it was the motion, the dancing or just plain drunkeness that was making for the irregular motion of the students.

Back on dry land it was off to one of the hangars for the after party with a drum and base session we left early leaving a few die hards to bounce out the night.

Sunday morning and again the faces (that appeared) looked a little worse for wear. A slightly more gentle day allowed for some recovery time but still there was a team race to be completed all done in glorious student style.

The day ended with the following results
